Topshop Unique’s designer Karen Bonser has pushed the creative envelope with prints, proportions and embellishments with a distinctly hippy grunge feel to them. This season the seventies rule with laser-cut suede and flowing silks, smoke print panelling and tulip hems. Styled by Katie Grand, the collection is suited to the bold fashionista who’s not afraid to be dramatic with the loud prints on display. The first show of the TopShop collections at the new Waterloo station location, (the old Eurostar building) the audience was presented with an impressive and unparalleled spread at London Fashion week, including a lounge area to relax pre-show offering free champagne and hors d’oeuvres. Top Shop gift bags featuring the new Top Shop makeup line were on each seat.  Sir Philip Green certainly knows how to please the press!
