LAKO BUKIA COLLECTION PHOTOGRAPHS
Lako Bukia‘s first runway collection ‘Surati’ was ‘dedicated to Georgian culture’ and inspired by the architecture of the Soviet Union. A simplistic block color palette taken from the buildings in soft hues of blue, pinks and greys. The collection of architectural inspired pieces included full skirted, drop waist silk dresses in crepe and a cage window dress in silk crepe with leather trimmed organza. Many of the pieces had pointy square cut shoulders, others a softer more draped appeal which came off as more modern than the ultra structured pieces.
