HANNAH MARSHALL – LONDON S/S 2011 FASHION SHOW

Born in the UK, Hannah Marshall had studied at Colchester School of Art & Design and later studied tailoring at Central Saint Martins. Her inspirations were “control, privacy and technology.” She opened this season’s show with a fashion film by renowned photographer Rankin, followed by a more traditional catwalk show. Her designs were extremely minimal, low key yet bold with geometric elements. Keeping with the color palette of blacks, greys and whites, she used a lot of sheer see-through fabric. We loved the origami pleat detailed dresses which stood out against the clean lines of the rest of the collection.
