Benjamin Marlowe is a freelance artist in Brooklyn, New York.  Originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, when he was very young, he began his life as an illustrator for the local newspaper.  It was also at that age when there was a certain aversion for cartoons, due to the negative results they had on children.  Naturally children were drawn to it.  Benjamin moved quickly to base his entire existence around 2-D creations; drawing from comic books became an imperative hobby.  Over the course of twelve years he has studied and worked in various mediums of art including Illustration, Silk Screening, Sculpture and Animation.  He got his BA from Wheaton College in Massachusetts, and afterwards decided to stay east and head to New York City. Now as a Brooklyn based artist, Benjamin has found a community of willing and supportive artists.  The world of street art has commanded his interest as of recent and he works to pursue aspirations in that realm as well as continuing to pursue is goals in animation.
