THE BLONDS FASHION SHOW VIDEO BY XXXX MAGAZINE

For the show that closed Fashion Week and designed costumery for the likes of Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj, there were high expectations. Word had spread of a designer collaboration. New York Fashion Week loyalists perched, ready to take in the final breath of fashion week fever. Ready for the overload of diamonds, glitter and sparkle to brace the catwalk in true Blonds form.  Inspired by the iconic Playboy bunny brand, The Blonds models stepped out onto the catwalk in all their sexy, feminine, kooky-chic glory suited and booted in velvet corsets, white cotton bunny tail fur and a plethora of sparkling jewels.

The Playboy bunny was branded throughout with its renowned label appearing throughout the show. Bunny’s strutted their stuff, posing seductively at the end of the catwalk and showing off their carefully pinned rosettes. Starched collar detailing, silk bow ties and bunny ears accessorised each look – lacking creativity? Copying Hugh Hefner’s iconic brand down to its finest details? Maybe. Who can blame them? All of the models had voluminously teased hair and kinky cat eyes giving the show an overload of what Playboy does best: promiscuity and sex. Christian Louboutins crowned each look as models strutted down the catwalk in skyscraper heels coated in glistening crystals. Ooo Ahhhh! Precisely. Smiles all round for the audience. The most spectacular moment was when a long-legged blonde appeared in an eye-dizzying leotard drenched in everything shiny with arms covered in a mass of white fluff! Other key looks included the appearance of a gold plated corset and a sparkling red corset sculpted with shiny, red acrylic hearts. Perfect for a spring Valentine’s day!  PVC, leather, velvet, faux rabbit fur and colourful cotton balls joined the show’s mix of fun and glamour.
