Since its launch in f/w 2005, Lynda Cohen-Kinne and Daniel Kinne of ‘A La Disposition‘ have drawn heavily from historic references, as the name suggests. With well-constructed pieces, the SS12 collection uses multi-angle pattern cutting to create dramatic, romantic shapes. Luxurious, iridescent ruffled fabrics are used in mustard, khaki green, pinks, blacks and two-tone lilacs. There are breeches, tailcoats, puffball skirts and asymmetric blouses and shirts with large structured collars and Elizabethan neck ruffs.
