ANNA SUI – NEW YORK F/W 2012 FASHION SHOW

Anna Sui’s kept her late-60’s-inspired F/W 2012 collection bright with electric-orange, aqua blue, lime green and fuchsia.  Her skills in printmaking was also on display with in her “librarian” dress in book pattern, a smock whose bodice was dressed with laser-cut Plexi butterflies, a handcrafted owl appliqué on a velvet varsity jacket, as well as paisley and Russian doll-style prints. Bucking the trend for sharp tailored silhouettes, Anna Sui used generous kaftans and super shaggy coats, often topped off with knitted owl hats.
