CHRISTOPHER KANE – LONDON S/S 2012 FASHION SHOW 

Kanye West, Jade Parfitt, Laura Bailey, Eliza Doolittle, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and Erin O’Connor were among the front row for Christopher Kane, surely one of the most talked about shows of the week. Inspiration for the collection had come from “photographs of girls in grim council-estate bedrooms, the paper peeling off the walls behind them” this washed out decay was evident in his “ghost fabric” – the metallic florals, aluminium organza, washed out and transparent dresses and bright almost electric light reflective fabrics. These magical dresses all teamed with sandals and cricket jumpers…
