CRAIG LAWRENCE

Craig Lawrence uses a mesh of fabrics in his extremely outré line of voluminous knits made from unconventional materials. A Central St Martins graduate, Lawrence’s pieces are best experienced through video as photo only serves to cartoonize his creations; what he creates is certainly not made for stasis. On the runway, they come to life as they do in his video, inspired by the Abdication of Crowns, features a model moving in his couture line.
