FASHION MODE COLLECTION PHOTOGRAPHS
Fashion Mode introduced four new generation talented designers. Elson Figueiredo opened the show with his self-described ‘mish-mash os casual workwear and traditional tailoring’, with 100% Fairtrade cotton being used in all pieces. Carlotta Actis Barone showed her political womanswear designs. Her collection titled ‘Wear My Skin’ cobined a mix of skin tones, full length knitwear and emblazoned old style text. James Hillman’s collection was a sleek and polished parade of grey tailored menswear. Inspired by the 59 Bike Club and an admiration for clean elements of the Teddy Boy look. The finale belonged to Florain Jayet and his silhouette-changing collection. Inspired by the futuristic concepts of Paco Rabanne and Theirry Mugler, garments are bold, fitted and highly structured shapes with a palette based on the silver shiny colors of metal.
