Scottish designer Jonathan Saunders has previously worked alongside Alexander McQueen, Christian Lacroix at Pucci and Pheobe Philo at Chloe. “Colour, print and femininity” were the inspirations for his SS12 collection and it’s easy to see. With fresh, striking colour combos – lime, blue, coral, pink, yellow, mint and lilac in gradient dyed shirts, subtle paisley prints, shimmering brocade and textured knitwear, the collection felt fun, modern and youthful.
