There wasn’t one dull surface at Marc Jacob’s mainline collection, the Louis Vuitton show. On every guest’s seat there was a single piece of paper with a quote from a famous Susan Sontag essay. Gold and black fringed curtains opened to a leopard sprawled over the back of a white satin blazer and down of one trouser leg. The vivid collection had a taste of the 1970’s decadent disco scene, deep jewel tones mixed with gold color was dominant as seen in glittering, slinky mesh dresses with wide sequin cummerbunds. Lush and exotic, with an asian touch.
