MEADHAM KIRCHOFF – LONDON S/S 2011 FASHION SHOW

MEADHAM KIRCHOFF COLLECTION VIDEO

Meadham Kirchhoff’s designers, Ed Meadham and Ben Kirchhoff, showcased their Spring / Summer 2011 collection at the Waterloo station venue with a stage decorated with dyed pink and red flowers that resembled a landscape out of Alice in Wonderland. Kichhoff and Meadham said their inspiration came from Courtney Love’s album Live Through This. The brightly dyed hair and makeup gave off a fantasy grunge vibe. The clothes were adorned with ruffles, lace, bows, glitter and more pushing the look more into the fairy tale rather than the real world.  We loved the colors and playfulness of the collection, truly for the original at heart.

MEADHAM KIRCHOFF BACKSTAGE BEAUTY VIDEO
Backstage at Meadham, Makeup artist Florrie White created her fairy tale makeup looks with dramatic lower lashes drawn on the face, bright red lips and bleached eyebrows. Completing the look, hair stylist James Pecis used rainbow colored wigs creating a surreal beauty look that explored the realms of fantasy.
