PAM HOGG COLLECTION VIDEO

The self-taught Scottish-born designer, Pam Hogg, showed a collection that displayed Britain’s famous fashion eccentricity. The collection is full of drama with designs that exude the essence of punk from the eighties. The show opened with anticipation, as model Alice Dellal stomped down the runway topless, wearing little more than the animal-skin drum she was beating. Always one not afraid to shock, Hogg later had a model completely naked adorned with some nipple garnishing and a daring chastity belt. Inspiration was slightly primitive and very futuristic, think David Bowie’s Space Oddity mixed with Barbarella. We saw a lot of metallic body suits, constructed body suits with dramatic belted elements juxtaposed with body revealing skin tight numbers. Always a brilliant show!
