Jessica has been interested in female representation and has worked with text, images, objects, video, film, and theater exploring feminine forms of language.
In 2008 she presented her video Mary Jane at the Jeu de Paume Museum in Paris France with the festival A Shaded View of Fashion subsequently Mary Jane was part of the hors pistes film festival at the Centre George Pompidou in Paris, France. Her film and video work has been shown at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Museum of Modern Art Bogotá, MACRO Museum in Rome; included in numerous film festivals and programs such as international competition of the 47 international Oberhaussen Short Film Festival in Germany, São Paulo International Short Film Festival, and Festival de Cine de Cartagena, among others; and broadcast on the television networks ARTE-WDR in Germany and France, and SBS in Australia.
