SHARON WAUCHOB FASHION SHOW
Irish born Sharon Wauchob‘s default stance is hard-edged and understated. In her Spring collections she has taken traditional codes of femininity and broken them down. “I like to take something that is almost foreign to me, and make it what I consider cool and wearable,” she explained before her show.
Organza was the main feature of the first look: tight-collared shirts tucked into skirts and pants with blocks of color that inspired feelings of athleticism. Then came lace and sprouts of fringe, tiered and layered over one another on a block-printed silk on straight-cut dresses with a hint of 1920s style.
