SUZANNE RAE – NEW YORK F/W 2012 FASHION PRESENTATION

Suzanne Rae presented her first collection at Lincoln Center as part of W hotel’s Fashion Next Fall 2012 program.  Part of the appeal of Rae’s aesthetic is that she ensures that her entire collection is produced in New York with eco-friendly and sustainable fabrics.  According to Rae, the collection channelled the spirits of Jim Morrison, Aldous Huxley, and William Blake.  The result was a sophisticatedly bohemian collection with plenty of architectural details and perfectly draped velvet evening wear.
