SUZANNE RAE – NEW YORK S/S 2011 FASHION SHOW

Newcomer of the season, Suzanne Rae, found inspiration in Jack Kerouac’s novel “On The Road”, paying homage to the American West. Rae showed simple vintage separates, lace tops, and silk sundresses wrapped with bits of white rope. Styling also illustrated tidbits of Americana – models sporting tousled braids, teased up-dos and flushed pink cheeks. Rae presented in The Standard Hotel’s High Line Room, accompanied by live music from Melati Malay. With glass walls filling in sunlight and a view of the Hudson River, the atmosphere bursted with creative energy that made her show feel magical.
