THE ARMORY SHOW OPENING – NEW YORK 2010 HIGHLIGHTS

The Armory show was a roaring success this year as exhibitors reported high sales volumes and record-breaking crowds of 60,000 people. Celebrities were also high in attendance, among those Sophia Coppola, Calvin Klein, Mike Myers and David Alan Grier.  The Armory show has been running for twelve years and has developed into an international institution that artists, galleries, collectors, critics and curators travel from all over to experience one of the world’s leading art fairs. XXXX Magazine Creative Director, Indira Cesarine, and Visual Arts Editor, John Paul Zuviate, attended the opening, which was buzzing with positive energy. Gallery owners and guests were celebrating with bottles of champagne in abundance. Post opening we checked out the after-party at the MOMA which was equally high spirited.
