THUY – NEW YORK A/W 2010 FASHION SHOW
With only three years in the business, newcomer Thuy has managed to attract a sizable following for reasons displayed with season’s collection. Vague Japanese references, balloon skirts and dresses, and crystal paisley appliqués were all fine-tuned themes throughout the show. Jewel tone colors, Swarovski crystals, fur sleeves and metallic fabrics were highlights on the runway. While the collection managed to meddle with both gothic and avant garde themes, it still held an air of accessibility for the fashion forward woman.
