WALTER VAN BEIRENDONCK

Walter Van Beirendonck‘s Fall 2010 Collection entitled “Take a W-Ride” is truly in a class of its own. Models rocked oversized headphones down the runway in tune with the shows theme of travel by airplane. Graphically speaking the colors and prints were expertly chosen and played well with Walter’s experimentation on new silhouettes. Mechanic’s pants, overalls and paratrooper’s coverall’s comprised the majority of this quirky collection. The women’s collection pieces were equally surreal, and were a strong juxtaposition with the men’s looks.
