ZUCCA – PARIS A/W 2010 FASHION SHOW

It was all about the outerwear at this fashion forward collection presented by Zucca. This season, Japanese designer Akira Onozuka managed to incorporate several trends cohesively into one show including military inspired jackets, animal print, cocoon jackets and tribal prints. Presenting both women’s and menswear was a wise decision, showing versions of similarly styled clothing for both sexes. Particularly strong was the tulip skirted fur lined jacket in animal print and the plaid jacket topping the solid color of the mix-and-match skirt and top. Though very avant garde and refreshing in the label’s designs, we found the puffer jacket enveloped in a miniature tote bag to be completely convenient for everyday use.
