Minimalist designer, Narciso Rodriguez, was born in New Jersey and went to Parson’s School of Design in New York. He started freelancing and later worked with Donna Karan and Calvin Klein. In 1997, Rodriguez launched a collection under his own label. For Rodiguez’s beautiful Spring 2011 collection, he showcased simple gowns, silk dresses, and strong-shouldered suits. “There’s so much noise in fashion,….I wanted something fresh, easy and pretty.” He used a color palette of black, red, white, cream and grays.
