The current push in the industry towards motion is one that has thoroughly fascinated Dominique. Directing, DP, are not so unfamiliar from the still world, but it is the ability to edit that has proved to be his most powerful and surprising tool. Learning that it shapes the viewing experience to such an extent that it has more to do with his films being great or terrible, than most people realize. Along with that, Donimique has had the opportunity to work with dancers in his recent projects and it has opened his mind to new ways of seeing movement and discovering how riveting it can be. The originality of movement can make someone beautiful and compelling, and the opposite is true as well.
Although born in France Dominique has spent most of his life in the US. Currently based between Paris and New York. Dominique was awarded “Best Picture” for “MOVE” at La Jolla fashion Film Festival 2011.

Working with clothes is a beautiful thing, a stunning designer piece or the perfect simple boy’s blazer. She loves mixing and finding that perfect balance, a skill that is probably what she is most recognized for. Finding the challenge of using affordable pieces to produce a very high quality look extremely rewarding. No matter how simple the clothes are, a woman can always look stylish, sophisticated and have an edge. Looking expensive or cheap has nothing to do with the actual price tag. “Avoir du chien” is what matters…
Another side of my work has involved working with celebrities. From Justin Timberlake to Taylor Swift, via Natalie Portman and Robert Pattinson… Trying to push for more of an editorial look is always the goal while staying true to the image that the person needs to project, a balancing act. Overall, to create an image, a style demands not only a strong vision, but also to be very consistent so the result has the most impact. Having high standards even in the smallest details will always show and shine in the end.
