MARK FAST – LONDON S/S 2011 FASHION SHOW

MARK FAST COLLECTION VIDEO

Spring/Summer 2011 was Mark Fast‘s first stand-alone show, inspired by a “post-apocalyptic world where acid rain wreaked destruction”. The collection played around with the usage of knits, as he mixed cobweb knits with sheer and feather-like tassle pieces. PVC plastic was also used creating a bustier effect, emphasizing his overall body-con direction. This season he stuck to more traditional model sizes, and the dresses shimmered and shined down the catwalk covered in ‘Swarovski Elements’. We loved the dramatic floor length white dress at the end of the show, as well as the black pieces that opened the collection – strong, dramatic and extremely intricate.
