VIVIENNE WESTWOOD COLLECTION PHOTOS

British designer, Vivienne Westwood, entitled her spring/summer 2011 collection “The Only One” which is all about her message, to save the planet. The first look that came out was a pouf in a luscious red silk renaissance looking garbage bag dress. It looked like the collection was made out of found materials transformed into Westwood’s romantic eighteenth and nineteenth century gowns and suits. Dramatic white tribal style makeup marked the faces of the models, giving a nod to the futuristic/ tribal looks seen in movies like Mad Max. Overall a rather eclectic, grungy collection, with an artful glamourous edge.
